Three years ago, Amber Milburn met Chris Collins...a senior who was arrogant, impossible, and far too good at getting under her skin. She eventually fell for him. He crushed those feelings badly... despite clearly feeling something himself. They walked away with pride intact and hearts slightly damaged. Now, three years later, Amber unknowingly lands an internship at his company. Chris is now the bossy, perfectly polished CEO who likes his coffee black, his desk spotless, and his life under control. Amber is chaotic sunshine in heels...funny without trying, stubborn by nature, and somehow, always fainting when he's just an inch too close. He likes order. She is disorder. He gives instructions. She argues with them. He wants distance. She keeps ending up in his space. Somewhere between office disasters, stolen glances, possessive moments, family chaos, loyal friends, and a history neither of them truly buried... old sparks begin to feel dangerously new again. Because the problem with unfinished stories is? They have a habit of starting over. *** "How could you do this to me? Why make me sign that contract?" I asked furiously. He looked up from his laptop and smirked. "As far as I remember, I didn't make you sign the contract, did I? You signed it on your own. If I am not wrong, it is entirely your fault for signing without reading the documents properly. The first rule in business is: never sign any papers without reading them properly." "I deny," I said. "Your wish, Ms. Milburn. You can walk out of the company anytime and meet my lawyers in court tomorrow," he said, leaning back in his chair. "You're cruel, Chris." "It's Mr. Collins for you, Ms. Milburn. I hope you know basic etiquette and professionalism, or your business degree is useless." "I hate you!" "Now, if you are done wasting my time, go and bring me my coffee. No sugar. Now out!" These three months were going to be the most disturbing and stressful three months of my life.

"Hey! She already said she was sorry. What more do you want?!" I screamed loudly in his face. His face turned from angry to shocked. No one had ever yelled at him that way at school before. He narrowed his eyes at me."She ruined a very expensive shirt so she needs to be punished for it," he responded, his green eyes lit with hate and anger. "So?! You probably have a million other shirts just like it. You spoiled rich boys have no respect for others. You think you're better than everyone else. Well, let me tell you, you are the worst of the worst." I said. I couldn't believe what I had just said. I realized I had given myself a death sentence as the words flew out my mouth. Duke was quiet for a few moments then he finally replied. "You better watch what you say girly," he said as he brushed past my shoulder. His two buddies following him from behind. I couldn't believe what I just did. It felt so invigorating. I felt as though I had an adrenalin rush. I knew that this feeling would not last for long though because I just gave the H3 a new target. Me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rosette just wanted to have a nice and quiet high school life, however, high school life at Highland High Private school is anything but nice and quiet. Rosette was able to go to this school because she received a scholarship however, the school is run by three rich boys named the H3 (Handsome three). They go around just bullying everybody and anybody who makes them mad. What is worse is when a person is targeted at the school the whole school bully's them as well. One day Rosette decided it was enough and confronted Duke, the leader of the H3. After that, her whole life began to change.

" You can't forbid me from going outside."I pointed my index finger to the gigantic black door that I just busted through. "Don't you. Yell.at me."his teeth were gritted so tightly I could see them through his skin. "I just wanted us to talk and where the hell were you going?"I rolled my eyes. Was he being serious right now. We never talked . He always issued orders to me. "You don't want to talk.you want to give and order. I just want a minute alone to think."I reasoned almost crying. "And you don't want to think precious. I know the moment you step out that gate, you would leave me."he looked at me clearly trying to put his anger in check.What the hell was he even mad at?what on earth was he talking about? "W-what?" "Just fucking go upstairs! go and think from there!"he snapped. His hands balled into a fist. "You can not order me to think. I am not in the mood anymore.why don't you go ahead and write your orders down..that's what you are good at99 anyway. Husband! "he gave me a poker face making me wonder who the hell I got married to . I couldn't stand him even for a second. Sighing I turned around to the spiral stairs going to the bedroom. I just prayed that he kept his dumb ass downstairs or back to his office. Precious A 2o years old economic graduate has a bit of bad luck in choosing her partner. She was left at the alter,suffered his home's wrath until she had to move. Mario A 30 years old multi billionaire with a nasty attittuude and a dark past.he was a straight manwhore until he met precious. They got married but his possessive nature proved to be a stumbling block.
