Danger! Curves ahead...

Wilder Peyton and Odette Everson have lived two very different lives. Raised by a wealthy family of lawyers, Wilder has lived the posh lifestyle of a Miami elitist except for the fact that he wants nothing to do with his family's money, works in a car garage, and street races on the weekends.

Thrown into foster care at age 14, Odette has always had to work for what she wants. Seeing her younger siblings once a week and waiting tables at her best friend's cafe have always been the highlights of her life except on the days when Wilder Peyton struts through the cafe doors.

Wilder and Odette have never been friendly to one another, but there is a fine line between love and hate. Car trouble, a family fight, and a startling ghost from the past could be just the things that define that line, but lines can break. And so can a few hearts.

~ I put my foot down and drive to the first corner. The track is always wet at the start of the day as the water truck is able to go out and keep it that way, but by the end of the day all the water will have been used so it will be bone dry and that's when the real fun begins. I pull the hydro, the chrome shaft that's connected to my rear brakes, to lock the rear wheels so I can initiate a drift. I feather the throttle accordingly as to keep the car sideways and continue onto the next corner... This is it. Nothing else matters. Just me, my car, their car and the sound of tyres tearing rubber against the drying tarmac... ~ ~ "Laurie, you got something..." He trails off as his thumb brushes my lips enough to turn my head towards him. Before I know it, the space between us is closing and my body is frozen. His lips draw ever closer to mine and involuntarily, my back arches so my mouth presses against his. My lips burn with passion as I find myself unable to stop kissing him. My rational side kicks in and I pull myself away from him. What the hell am I doing? ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Laurie Williams is a wreck of a woman. Alcoholism and not giving a fuck are her two main personality traits. However, when her tightly knit friend group of girl car enthusiasts find a car club to become a part of, she starts to come to life. For a moment, she leaves her old life behind. But it always finds her again. On a downward hill spiral from the beginning, she loses friendships, relationships and even herself. The only thing keeping her afloat is her love for cars. Can she hold onto that love? Or will her former demons continue to ruin her? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

CURRENTLY EDITING! (I wrote this when I was like 16 LOL so I definitely need to go back through and make better. Trust the process! 😌) Peyton found herself in a rough spot in her life. Money was tight, she was getting by - barely - but something needed to change. So she decided to move in with her best friend Camryn. Camryn welcomed her best friend with open arms. But with money tight for Peyton, she also had a car that was a piece of garbage. While driving to her new home, her old beater car full of her belongings, she broke down. Panicking she calls Camryn, Camryn recommended a garage that was just up the road a few minutes. Peyton didn't know that walking into that garage would make her meet a smoking hot, dangerous, short tempered, protective and possessive man of her dreams. With tattoos that littered his perfectly tanned skin, how could Peyton not fall for Theo Martínez?
