a face owned but never cherished. a dream fought for but never achieved. a life lived but never enjoyed. a love found but never stayed. scars healed but torn open just to bleed. claws of ember and teeth of iron feeding off rotten flesh. ships docked on violent waters surviving but never whole again.
when you look in the mirror, do you see a mangled corpse or do you see yourself?
