He opened the apartment door. Seeing Maka asleep on the couch he went over. "You know we didn't mean that right?" Soul asked. When she didn't answer, he rolled her over. What he expected was a couple of insults, a Maka chop, and then some sobbing. What happened, he didn't expect. Maka was lifeless.
