Insanity- the state of being seriously mentally ill; madness. Extreme foolishness or irrationality. Except the definitions didn't talk about the screaming. The shredding shrieks of the eight year old girl you basically raise while her mother is at work to pay for the two bedroom one bathroom apartment on the third flour of the Motel that's barely in business. No, the definition doesn't talk about the violence either; the throwing of anything grab able, or the constant thump of her head against the concrete walls. The definition would never go into detail about the tear stricken sister who has to deal with it all, but I will.
