Shiraki Midoriya is the younger half sister of Izuku Midoriya. Her quirk gives her the ability to communicate with a small shadowy being that can change its form. This also causes demon wings and black markings across her body.

Due to these, she didn't make friends so she usually preferred to stay at home rather than go to school. Shiraki looked up to her brother Izuku despite him being quirkless because she admired his dedication and loved that he would share all his notes with her.

When Shiraki found out that Izuku had a quirk and was going to U.A, she pestered him to the point where he told her about One for all but made her keep it a secret.

One day when waiting for Izuku, she sees Shinsou and is intrigued by him.
