Yami is the daughter of Giovani who wants her to take over Team Rocket. Yami doesn't like that idea since she hates the idea of stealing pokemon and the other activities Team Rocket does.

She runs away, taking her team of three pokemon which consist of a Bulbasuar which her father had stolen and given to her, an Eevee and a Vulpix.

She runs into two trainers after being attacked by an angry pokemon mob, passing out in front of them.

When she wakes up, she finds herself in the same room as two of Kanto's most popular Trainers, Red and Blue. Blue challenges her to a battle which she reluctantly accepts.

Blue seems interested in this girl, having no idea where she came from but liking her determination to prove that she can be a strong trainer and decides to help her.

Will they get closer or will Blue only ever see her as a rival?
