Rosa is living with her crazy religious aunt and uncle for almost her whole life. But when she gets caught with vodka, she is forced to live with her abusive, drug addicted, drunk parents where they abuse her everyday. Rosa has been dealing with a cutting problem and pills. But when she starts her first day as a Sophomore, she meets a group of friends. One having a huge drug problem. Rosa falls in in love with Brenda's stepsister, Jeane and when Rosa's parents find out, they beat Rosa and Jeane and kick her out. Starting a new life, he spirals downward even worse than she ever has. And with Alex dead of a drug overdoes, what can Rosa do?
