But when you all return to the Academy, you realize that things aren't exactly, when you left it. Reginald Hargreeves is alive and the group have being replaced by a new group of superheroes name The Sparrow Academy which Reginald have adopted as children instead of Five and his siblings.
The Sparrows directly encounters the same with the Umbrella gang in a violent confrontation.
And you are shocked when you learn that Reginald had chose to adopt an old friend of yours.
While there is rivalry between the two families, an unknown thing arrives and began to ravages the universe making animals and people to disappear without a trace and soon the whole universe is in danger and you and the Umbrella Academy has to stop yet another apocalypse for the third time while also trying to convince The Sparrow to help save the universe but that's easier said than done.
