When the gates of heaven welcome newly ascending mortals, it is a surprise to the heavens that a small child also entered its gates. Once at odds with Dijun, she now finds a place to call her home. But just when she finds happiness, life changes. secrets are exposed and she comes face to face with the nine tailed fox clan. Will they claim her as their own? Finally able to meet with the fox clan, feng jui learns why she was left in the mortal realm.  A surprising alley takes her side.  As her destiny keeps unraveling, it becomes clear that not all things are set in stone. Especially a love that was unexpected hat blossoms. But this love is not fated.  Neither is she. Especially when she sees the destiny she was supposed to have that is no longer available to her and it has a devastating effect on her. When love springs forth, can they fight the fate Dijun changed long ago?
