One direction Is filled with gay rumors 

Fans assuming their relationships to be known as "beards"

And their friendships to be relationships.

No i'm not talking about facial hair.

Google Definition : Beard is a slang term describing a person who is used, knowingly or unknowingly, as a date , romantic partner (boyfriend or girlfriend), or spouse  either to conceal infidelity or to conceal one's sexual orientation . The American slang term originally referred to anyone who acted on behalf of another, in any transaction, to conceal a person's true identity.The term can be used in heterosexual  and homosexual  contexts, but with increasing acceptance of gay culture , references to beards are seen in mainstream television and movies as well as other entertainment.

No one knows if they're true or not. 
The fans have "proof" of their relationships being fake,  but they also have "proof" of them being real.

This is a combination of ideas from @straightnogayvodka @darktone2001 and @True12354 ♥️ Harry and Louis used to be childhood friends but haven't seen each other in ten years. Harry moved to New York with his dad at age thirteen. When he returns to London as the CEO of his father's company he runs into Louis at a lecture. The Alpha immediately knows that he's an Omega, something he's hiding from pretty much everyone. How the hell can he smell him when he's masking his scent with the best Beta Booster on the market? Louis can't believe that this gorgeous but rude Omega is in fact his childhood friend. They're both in the construction business which means that they are rivalries. One day he gets a new neighbor, someone with a baby who cries nonstop. He can't have that. The paper-thin walls make it hard for his kids to sleep when that baby won't stop crying.
