Tampering with the human mind has always been a tempting fantasy for anyone interested in the brain and its workings. The possibilities of what the brain could do are endless, and yet no one has had the courage to try picking it apart.

When two extraordinary individuals meet by coincidence, they immediately connect over their interest of neuroscience and the possibility of neural links. Eager to do anything in the name of science, they travel across the world, break into top- secret labs, and slowly begin to shape technology that would help their aspirations come true.

And they kill people.

I glanced down the streets leading away from this treacherous town, wondering what it would be like to start over, how easy it would be to run away; settling on that thought I turned and began following the road that led out, aching for just a taste of something new, even if that meant I turned around and went back after. Soon my curiosity took over as my eyes trailed a mysterious trail twisted out of my view, I smiled, gripped my backpack, and headed down the trail. And just like that, my taste of a new life became more then I could chew as I uncovered secrets, and broke into places I was not suppose to be.
