What happens when you find out that the life you’ve always known can be changed in the blink of an eye? I’m not talking about discovering that you’re adopted or something trivial like that. More like ascertaining that your inane and narcissist of a mother made a drunken promise to an old friend that you would marry his son when you turned seventeen. What’s more is that your aggressive father goes against the arranged marriage. Not because he wants what’s best for you, but because he doesn’t want to lose his personal punching bag. So, I ask you, what would you do in this situation? Remain with your selfish mother who doesn’t know that your father physically abuses you? Or agree with the arranged marriage to a downright stranger?
