Interesting her deeply, Beth then runs away to the abandoned town of Treegap, where a once thriving town was then abandoned and became the wood again. There, she finds what she expected: the alive and well Tucks. Soon, Beth starts to consider this family, and eventually falls head over heels for their son, Jesse. But, being friends with people who don't die can be somewhat of a challenge, and when romance can't last forever, Beth will have to make the same choice Winnie Foster did: to drink or to not drink the spring water that gives the Tuck family eternal life.Complete
