The eight stories of "The Fabini Circus" take place in a small, imaginary town lost in the hills of Tuscany, Italy and named Fabini. In the center of town is a rather ambiguous shaped fountain which generates mysterious libidinal energy among the various residents and visitors. In addition to this centralizing symbol, there are numerous related characters mentioned tangentially in one story only to resurface as characters in another.
The first story begins with the arrival of a dilapidated circus, and the final story reintroduces the circus which has taken on a greater sophistication, making a full circle in the evolution of the stories.
There are essentially two themes running through the stories. The first one deals with men/women relationships. The second consists of irreverent satire on the following topics: religion, government, ethnic conflicts, and of course sex. All stories must be read in their entirety to full appreciate the Fabini Circus.

Book 1 of the series Tales of Strangeness and Charm Three mismatched adventurers set out on a journey that will prove to be far longer and stranger than any of them could possibly anticipate. Driven by a shared interest in an enigmatic device from beyond their world, their quest will forge and test friendships; encounter terrible foes and likely lead to rather a lot of whinging. Do not make the mistake of thinking that this is merely a children's book. It might appear to hold a simple, facile tale of foolish phantasmagoria, but appearances can be deceptive. Follow this story: To Witness Feats of Daring Do, and Quite a Few of Daring Don't The quest is important, except when it isn't, which is often. Despite frequent digressions into philosophical quandaries, unplanned doilies, and fights with fowl, there's sometimes still a faint glimmer of something important happening. This blend of action and absurdity offers readers a mix of excitement and humor. To Read Tales Layered Like a Palimpsest of Madness Each story is written over another, creating layers of hidden meanings that beg to be uncovered. This aspect appeals to readers who enjoy complex narratives that reveal new details upon rereading, adding depth to the experience. Because Grimmbros Is the Hero You Never Knew You Needed Follow Grimmbros as his finely tailored yellow tweed suit with an orange twill running through it gradually falls apart along with his patience with halflings. This characterization provides a relatable hero who embodies charm and frustration, engaging readers with his journey and growth.

Fate leads those who are willing but must push those who are not. One might interpret this saying a bit too literal. After all, Elena did end up on the bottom of a hill in the middle of a forest, suffering several injuries. But do not worry, fate loves a rebel and has something magical stored for our sarcastic heroine. Time travel. An adventure in the 16th century was not something our main character had in mind, but when her path is built with music and joy, it can't be that bad, right? Oh, who am I kidding. . . At first glance, it seemed to be the perfect fairytale for our main character; being able to experience the medieval time and be surrounded by enchantment wherever she went. She even meets a monk, blessed with the gift of music, who shares her passion and is willing to teach Elena the secrets of the piano. It's perfect. But it was only the tip of the iceberg. Elena's piece of tranquility is broken when she stumbles into another mess, leaving her caged and alone in the forest. Fortunately for our heroine, a prince crosses her path, helping her in her need. One might see this as the Universe's way for entertainment, or the fate's bizarre tactics to bring people together. Whatever it might be, it did not stop Elena from catching the eye of the prince of a powerful kingdom. Before anyone knows what's even happening, they're caught in the middle of it all; like a cat trapped in a yarn. After all, even the stone you trip on is a part of your destiny. What happens when the Universe, and basically everything between hell and heaven, is against you? Simple: it's a journey filled with unforgettable events. So buckle up, folks, because you are in for a ride of pirates, songs, chases, jokes, and a broken soul. After all, there is no flying from fate.

Just your basic 'He's the bad boy and she's the girl next door', type of story. Okay, Maybe not. It's more like 'He's a crazy, violent, anger prone lunatic and she's the girl next ward', but hey, they're pretty much the same thing, right? Wrong. -------------------------------- He leans in closer so I can feel his warm breath fanning across my face. "Why?" I ask softly. Staring into his eyes, urging him, begging him to spill all his deepest, darkest secrets. He gives me a half smile. "Because, you fascinate me." He says shortly. I'm lost for words, he's so close now I can almost taste the scent of his spearmint breath. I gulp. Slowly he raises a hand and cups the side of my face gently. "You, wear insanity like an accessory, you make it lust worthy and desirable. That's why." -------------------------------
