"Sometimes I feel like I'm better at dying than others living."

Back when Elizabeth Lynn was in 8th grade, there was a new student, a boy. On the third day of his arrival, a storm was brewing just south of the school, which soon fell upon the school, killing nearly everyone, except Elizabeth Lynn was one of the lucky, surviving, but being mortally injured. She was put into a medically induced coma, where she might never wake up.
Where she lived, her parents, her school, her life, is gone. The original Elizabeth Lynn Costello, born October 17, 1983, in Yorkshire England, the girl with the olive skin and dark hair, never existed, never was born in the original 1983 reality.
Taken back in time and locked in an industrial London private school in the middle of the Victorian era with people of similar lives, they discover that they are not the only beings the school had locked in, and with more uncovered about the beginning history of the school, the more horrors inside are unleashed.
