Another day, another life. Mari has a secret identity that she keeps from her terrible family. She lives in constant pain and sadness. Her friends, Asher, Jayce, and Emerald, are severely worried about her. Emerald, and an older friend Sylvia, set her up to go to a school away from her family. At first, Mari hated it and rejected school life completely but soon, shit happens and Mari finds things more interesting.
