Sophie Foster had just discovered a new abilityーone that no one in the Lost Cities has ever witnessed before. It allows her to control her dreams and communicate with others through themーbut of course, we all know these as lucid dreams, however, no such thing exists in the Elvin world.
Sophie never thought this new ability would ever do her any good until, during one of her lucid dreams, she reunites with Calla. Calla warns Sophie about a new danger lurking nearbyーand is coming for her and everyone else in the Lost Cities. And suddenly, her friends and family begin to go missing one by one. Can Sophie bear with this new ability and use it to save everyone she loves, or will this be a fight Sophie doesn't have the power to win?
All characters and plots and everything else was created from the wonderful Shannon Messenger, except for any extra characters made by me! The book cover was also created by me.

Sophie Foster thought she was a human, lived like a human for 12 years, except she wasn't. When she was 5, she started reading other people's minds, and when she was 12, she discovered the truth. A boy found her, and took her to where she belonged, with other elves - because she is an elf too. She never was normal, and even in a place with others of her race, she still didn't quite fit in. But only a few days after her arrival in District 11 - her soon to be home, the council, the rulers of all 12 districts, were overthrown by a group called the Neverseen. And what had before been a covert way of scaring people and their faith in the council became a public tradition - once a year, two people from each district would be selected and told to fight to the death. And when Sophie's adoptive mother gets chosen, Sophie takes her place. But she never did fit in, because she isn't just an elf, she's something else. Something more. But when you have power, you have people who want to steal and destroy it. May the odds ever be in her favour... Extract: "Don't do this," Sophie whispered into her ear. She shook her head. "Mom, Dad - I love you. And I'm sorry," she said to the camera. Sophie's face was red and puffy with tears now, but she didn't care. "Let me be brave," she whispered to herself, inaudible to everyone except her. "Let me be brave, let me be brave, let me be brave." 211 in hungergames - 29.10.20 76 in hungergames- 28.12.20 Based off the bestselling Keeper of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger

Because There Is a Future

41 parts Complete

Seven years. Short in Elvin time, perhaps, but it can change a life. Lives, even. Doubts and guilt, those inevitable feelings, drove Sophie away from the Lost Cities. Indeed, she has successfully sent the Neverseen to Exile, but the loss cannot simply be ignored. And the deceased's family needs someone to blame it on. So - her. Sophie. The person who did the unforgivable, no matter how good of a cause it was for. The outcast no one wants. The girl who has too many powers for her own good. The Moonlark that has nothing to fulfill.
