"Let's escape, would you come with me?" he stated casually as if talking about the weather. He looks at me with hope on his eyes.
I nod and he smiled sincerely and run his car. Maybe I'm really crazy, I'm actually leaving my life here for someone I just met.

Sometimes, there's more than meets the eye. A third person helps point it out. _________ "Just get ready and open the door. I need your help." I sat down on the edge of my bed staring at the window. The sky was still dark. Did I want to go? "Nah, I think I'll stay inside." I heard a sharp intake of breath on the other side. "You serious?" I laughed. "Yeah, I'm serious. I'm not moving an inch." "So, let me get this straight," I looked at him weirdly, raising my hands slightly in exclamation. "You like me?!" I asked him in disbelief. "Like or like-like?" I really can't get my head to process his words at the moment. "Is it weird that I don't." He simply replied, his voice sounded calm but serious at the same time. "And for your question, I do. I do like-like you. Like, I really like you. To the point that you're the only thing that's on my mind everyday and I can't seem to get you off it." "Wait, don't go," I said barely above a whisper, but Jack indeed did hear, almost as if he was listening for it. "Can you stay with me? At least until I fall asleep," I replied, watching as he slightly smiled and agreed to my request before coming over to join me in bed. It was then he invited me into his arms, just like how he had fifteen years ago. I rested my head against his chest, listening to his heart beating as he wrapped his arms around me tight. Smiling, I was happy in the moment, and the world didn't matter one bit. I was with my Jack and that was all that mattered. Yes, in the morning my problems would still be there, but for the night it was almost as if they were completely gone...Complete

"Trust me." His voice was soft and calming, the way that a good father could be assumed to sound. "This isn't what you want, it never has been and it never will be. Confusion is difficult to work through, but if you just let me help you, I can show you that it can be worked through." He rolled up his sleeve, showing several white streaks across his skin. The other was shocked. "N-no, I'm not good for anything, I'm nothing there's nothing for me." He shook his head many times, holding it in his hands after a bit. "No." "Can I touch you?" The boy who was trying to help this poor soul had approached a few paces. His voice was now quieter, more soft, and still caring. The boy at the bridge took a moment to think, then nodded his approval. The savior gently took the boy's hands delicately in his own and gently pulled the boy back. Well, less of a pull and more of a gentle suggestion. It worked and the boy stumbled down off of the edge. The boy started to cry. How could he be so weak that a boy, the same age as him, who seemed to have the same ideas and hatred toward himself as he, could keep him from stepping off? The other simply gently led him to his vehicle and took out a water bottle out of the backseat. The boy took it and looked at it suspiciously. "It's untampered, look, it's still sealed." Upon seeing this, the boy opened it and took a few sips of water. "Thank you. For the water." The savior smiled. "It's nothing much." He shrugged. "Have a phone? If you want I can put my number in and then you'll always be able to tell someone if you're having a pissy day." Surprisingly enough, the boy agreed. . They would both be around twenty.Complete
Decadent
My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."Complete
