In his childhood, when he discovered he had the mixed powers of his fathers' and mothers' bloodlines, he had entered his mother's dream and had ended up turning her dream into a nightmare. In the end, she had wounded him in the nightmare. The effects were so strong it became a reflection on his face outside the dream world, scarring him for life. As a result, his mother was locked away in a place she could never harm him or any of her children ever again.
