This book shows the struggle of a boy who just lost the only person who ever cared about him, after she passed away he completely lost it and slowly starts to tear his life apart... piece by piece. He lost his home, has no job and becomes a drunk. His friends try to help but he ignores everything they say, in through one ear out through the other. After awhile he starts to realize that he needs help, so he goes around asking if anyone has a therapist in mind. After they meet up the patient and therapist start to get feelings for eachother. Just when he thought everything was perfect, he hears devastating news and both their lives change. He is heartbroken but knows that he can't give up and bail out now, not knowing what the future will bring.
