Vedanth Avinash Tiwari or as she knew him, Ved, was the epitome of success--both by professional standards but also by the myopic laws that governed South Asian society's fickle opinion of a person.  And by no means was either perception a happy accident. 

But a man, with seemingly nothing left to want, at his core only had unfulfillment & longing to offer to himself. A broken soul, devoid of life's one essential happiness. Love. 

And most of it, like everything else in his life, was his own doing.

Love used to make Bhumi's world go round. It was the only thing that could provide her some respite from the restlessness within her. 

However that was seven years ago, before Bhumika Shekhar Mistry woke up from her daydream. Having exiled (read: freed) herself from the shackles of "polite" Indian society years ago, she's worked tirelessly to make a name for herself in world she built on her own terms.
