Fearing Harry negatively influencing Dudley with his freakishness the Dursleys soon decided they should not be attending the same school. Thus, Harry was thrown into the only other public option in the area, a alternative Steiner school focused on creativity and self-management.
Hogwarts is not ready for a rather Hippy Harry with a far too chilled out attitude and a nasty habit of pointing out the flaws in Hogwarts' education. Not to mention, somehow the crazy boy convinced the hat to let him go into Slytherin despite his utter lack of slyness and ambition. Chaos ensures.

Finally Me (Rewrite)
Starts off just after Harry returns to the Dursleys for the summer after saving his godfather from a dementor's kiss. When Harry returned to the Dursleys he received a beating the first night back that was so bad that led to him seeing through all the Dark lord's memories. Around that same time, Sirius decides to share some information with Harry about his destiny. Along with sharing this information, he sends Harry the Potter family Grimoire and the Potter family amulet that was inside a trunk that his parent's made for Harry. After putting on the amulet Harry's looks change and all the blocks on him are destroyed. After being told his destiny and seeing through the Dark Lord's memories Harry starts reflecting on his life so far. As he reflects he can't help but wonder what his parents would think and say if they saw him. For years he had been pretending to be someone he was not, but now he finally had enough. He no longer would resend, Harry decides it is time to drop his mask completely and show who he really is completely. Now the real Harry is out and everything going to change. (I started this book in 8th grade, so I'm currently adding to previous parts and editing any mistakes I left behind as an early writer. So if things look inconsistent, that's why, this book is OLD.) Salazar Slytherin never allowed muggle-borns in his house and there has never been a muggle-born sorted in Slytherin. Naomi Lockery grew up as a Muggle, with her father and backyard farm. Suddenly, during the summer, she gets an acceptance letter from Hogwarts. While buying her books and supplies Naomi runs into the Weasley family and is immedeatly captivated by one of the twins, Fred Weasley. She and her father became friends with the family real quick and are ready to set off to school. However, as Naomi is sat at the stool with the Sorting Hat on her head, it was a shock to hear that she was sorted into Slytherin!
