-if you haven't watched or played the amazing game 'Detroit Become Human' yet, I highly recommend doing so before reading this as there are spoilers here.
- images do not belong to me, they are just google images. I'm not entirely sure what the rules are for copyright these days, but if they violate some sort of term, I'm more than happy to remove them as they don't have a huge impact on the story

This is a Detroit Become Human fanfiction. Welp. I told myself that I was going to wait with this. But alas, I wasn't able to contain myself. I played Detroit Become Human a few days ago and loved it (despite the ended that I got that was stupid and that I'm still salty about. But I have decided to pretend that that doesn't exist. So there.) Connor really fascinated me in the game and quickly became my favorite character with Kara as a close second. And then I fell in love with Connor so here we are. I know that a lot of fans love him too so I decided to make this! Unfortunately, with all my other projects in the works I don't know how often I'll be able to update this, but don't worry! It will be updated whenever I can! I hope you enjoy! In this story, you are a detective the partner and close friend of Lieutenant Hank Anderson. Work has been more than steady, with new reports due to deviants rising up one after another. What you think is going to be a normal day of work turns out to be quite the opposite as your boss has a little surprise for you and Hank... DISCLAIMER: I do NOT own the cover page. I also do NOT own the characters or the world of Detroit Become Human. I will also be using game dialogue and tweaked game dialogue, as well as my own original dialogue. So, I do NOT own the game dialogue either. This game was developed by Quantic Dream and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Credit goes to them in those regards. I do NOT own the story of Detroit, but I do own this spin on it.

Detroit: Become Human - What Matters Most

7 parts Complete

Set in an AU where Cole never dies from the accident and lives a happy, quiet life with his dad, Hank Anderson. Connor is the android sent by Cyberlife. He's the deviant hunter, the merciless detective assigned to partner with Lieutenant Hank Anderson at the DPD. He's cold and calculated, the most advanced model designed by Cyberlife to date. However, when he meets Cole and Hank Anderson he realizes that there's more to the world than his programming. There are things that are more important than his mission. Things such as love and family.
