Life in early 19th century Paris is not easy for young men looking to build a life - studies, worrying about romance, about career, trying to get the ghosts haunting one's flat to keep the noise down...

A collection of short stories about the group introduced in The Lost Mansion (reading that first is recommended but not necessary) centred mostly but not exclusively around the psychic, René Giraud.

(Content warning for the first story for suicidal ideation.)
(Please note that the stories may not be in chronological order. The time is always indicated at the beginning of any given story.)

Magic and supernatural creatures, love and friendship, with a little bit of action and humor and a lot of music and drama, in two new episodes every week. It contains romance storylines but there are a lot of other kinds of relationships represented. Most of the characters in the series are queer, including the main character who is ace. The worldbuilding includes vampires, immortals, and magic, with my personal twist on the lore. There is definitely drama in the story but also a lot of fluff. *** TW : violence, grief, addiction. Despite never meeting her mother's family, Ginny has heard stories of them. Of the old secluded house they have inhabited for hundreds of years. Of their weird naming practices and weird dislike for strangers. Although what she hadn't heard about was the family curse that runs through her veins. Now that her family has to move into that house, Ginny wonders if she is turning crazy or maybe, just maybe, a new dangerous world is waiting to be discovered.
