While the tensions around Dean, Sam, and Castiel have calmed down, there can never be peace for long. A growing threat looms upon them, and there may only be one way to stop it. Castiel. Since rejecting Heaven in favor of Dean, the other angels despise him. But Cas is the only one who is powerful enough to save Heaven and Earth. Cas has no idea what to do, so he enlists the help of Dean. Will this mission bring Cas and Dean closer together, or tear them further apart?

During a dangerous case with Sam and Dean something goes wrong and Castiel goes missing, this isn't like the other times Cas has disappeared, this is different, it's strange even for Cas. With Castiel gone Dean doesn't eat or sleep he just drinks and prays wondering if Cas can hear him. Day and night he checks the newspapers and police reports from every city, and county in the US for any sign of the trench coat angel. With no leads things become even more bleaker.
