"The Fault in Our Stars" inspired book. If you loved TFIOS, you'd surely love this. It is a story quite the opposite to TFIOS, as John Green's was about love, mine is about pain. A whole bucket of pain, pain that is very much influential to the readers. A child who felt pain that was being emitted by his family and pain that the tumor on his brain was giving him. I'm not dying... I'm being killed.

I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Most of my book ideas come from an suddent surge of emotion. I need to write it out so I can get it off my chest. Or rather belly. When I get an idea it just starts swelling in my stomach and spreads to my lungs and it hurts but I'm so inspired and hungry that I want to write the one-shot quickly. Or slowly.
