During her junior year Angel Northbound has a lot more to worry about than summer homework. With the apocalypse now upon the world her preacher father, Jason Northbound, enlist the help of demon Catalyst. Catalyst agrees to protect the family under one condition: he wants Angel as his mate. Forced to sacrifice everything for protection Angel is bitter. She knows Catalyst only wants her body and hates him with every fiber of her being. But soon, the nicer Catalyst becomes and the more he helps her family she seems to be... attracted to him. The more their relationship progresses Angel and Catalyst find out more about each other and a way to end the apocalypse
