This sequel to sister of Simba: Amara's Story picks up where the first book left off with Amara and Xolo's Daughter, Tala. Peace had been restored to pridelands after Scar had been killed. Tala's uncle, Simba, and Nala are now the king and queen of pride rock. Tala grows up around her cousins, Kiara, Kopa, And Kion. Life is perfect, or is it? A war with the outlanders is beginning to unfold as Tala deals with the weight of her cousins' secrets and the issues of her friends as well as a shocking discovery of a trait passed down to her from her grandfather.

The Pridelands begin to die and the Pride faces starvation. As Nala grows older, she becomes one of the best huntresses and catches Scar's attention. What happens when Scar is determined to make her his Queen? After Kopa is murdered, Kiara is no longer granted freedom to anything. In Simba's rage to defend his pride from Zira, he grows stone hearted and no longer grants Kiara the right to select a mate. Let alone look for one. Much time later Vitani is caught to be pregnant by Zira who wasted no time to banish her from the out lands, in her fear of defeat after losing a useful member of her pride she is more persistent on Kovu who soon gives into the manipulation and no longer cares for anything other spilling Simba's blood and hiding from Zira. When escaping Zira's grasp for the day, he is soon caught by the males of the pride after stealing kills, they operate to take his life until he is found by Kiara.

The Lion King 2 Remake- The Forgotten Ones by Wuttquad

When Kiara lost her brother Kopa, her father never let his guard down. He forbid her of most things, and was often blinded by his responsibilities to remind her why he was doing this to her. As Kiara grew from a cub to a fine lioness, she grew ungrateful and took her life of relaxation and safety for granted. She never though once of the fact that any other lion needed this protection. That being Kovu. A lion who had been taken in by Scar and Zira after Vitani went missing. They raised him as their own, manipulated him into forgetting about his elder sister and sent him after Simba. But as time passed, Kovu abandoned his "parents" and decided to focus on decency.
