She grasped on to the edge of the cliff yowling for anyone to help her. The fox looked straight at her. Her dislocated leg ( including her paw and claws.) barely hanging on to the cliff. It's jaws gaped open, revealing sharp, yellow teeth. It dash towards her with it's head turned sideways like it was going to somehow bite her neck.
As soon as the fox came close, the cliff gave way under the weight of the fox and her. She lost all control of her body as her and the fox plummeted down the cliff, the gorge waiting for them with rushing, rapid waters. Time felt like it stopped. the fox howled and yipped it's own language calling for help. She made no noise. She and the fox slowly fell as time started back up again.
She felt her back hit the water, the breath knocked out of her small body. Her back stung as she sank under the water like she had fallen onto 10,000 rocks and all of them dug into her back like thorns and pine needles. She sighed and bubbles came out. She sank into the deep, dark river, letting the current pull her. Her ears popped from the pressure as she sank deeper. She closed her eyes loving the peace and calmness of the deep river. Her lungs ached for air and her paws moved because of an instinct to get air. They didn't really move . The impact must've broke her back and caused her to be paralyzed from her neck down to her shin. The she-cat's head jerked a little. She made it to the bottom. Sand swirled around her as her paws finally gave up. She laid there on the cold river's floor holding her very last breath of air.

The blood had already leaked down my forehead, but I kept my eyes on Shane and tried to blink quickly to clear my vision. "Hang on, please. Please hang on." He pleaded, holding my body up to a sitting position. I couldn't even remember what had struck me and I was getting nervous by Shane's worried face. "I'm... it hurts." I mumbled. "I'm so sorry." I wanted to so badly but I was exhausted from the hike and spending the night in the cold and shivering for hours. Shane's warm hands under my back and legs already felt way better. "This is all my fault. The one good thing to happen in my life...." Shane let out a sob but never stopped walking. I just wanted to hug him and tell him everything was going to be alright. I could feel the blood still tripping down my leg and face, so I knew I couldn't make false promises but Shane needed me. He needs me. I'm his anchor, I'm the girl he leans on when he's feeling like he's losing. I have to do this. PLEASE READ: this is a really really old book and now I write much better quality stories. I'm actually working on one! So please, I ask, do not read this book. I wrote it when I just couldn't write, but there is no way I'm gonna erase it or un publish it, don't ask why just go with da flow. A dead silence. Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging.
