And she was stuck in her new home of Dallas, Texas, with nothing but her dreams and a few friends to keep her hopeful and happy.
Elvis Presley never imagined he would be as big a star as he became. But he was never able to enjoy his immense popularity and success, because he'd always felt a part of him was missing. And when he returned to his birthplace of Tupelo, Mississippi in 1956, he was told she'd be there, waiting to see him. But, sadly, he found she'd moved on a long time ago.
