Twenty four years ago a great war between the gifted people of Nimini and the rest of the continent of Feldon came to a close. So great was their power, that the men of the continent feared them and attempted to stamp them out. After seven long hard years of fighting and bloodshed, the Royal Family of Feldon and the Duchies offered a bargain.
Long stone walls imbued with magic circled the country of Nimini, locking the Nim away in willing banishment. Though shaky, peace befell the continent of Larosique. The Nim hidden from harm by the men who grew jealous of their gifts, and the continent safe from the limitless power they possessed.
It has been quiet ever since.
Saeoffinn Octavian is the crown prince of Feldon though most would not recognise his face. Like the people of Nimini he has been hidden away in the Winter Palace, never venturing out of the Inner Road walls. He was betrothed to the Princess of Jencai from a young age and now at nineteen years old, he must meet his fate.
Haunted by his past, absent parents, and losing the one person who truly understood him, he is unwittingly tangled with someone from his past. As Saeoffinn learns more about the world around him, can he break free of the expectations he's worked so hard to accept, and will he finally begin to trust again?
