Lacey is an unfortunate 15 year old who happens to have cerebellumpilocyticastrocyroma. It's a type of head cancer which only grows slowly and doesn't spread but builds up pressure in your head, and If pressure is too much you could die. She has basically lived in the hospital all of her life with this malignant cancer. She didn't think that she was going to meet anybody she would get close with until she meets Haymish a 15 year old boy who has major allergens and is still being tested on. When they meet up and become close they go kn adventures of their own that some are dangerous and some are just fun. But they soon come to reality that their medical conditions could take their life at any time. As Lacey gets worse and Haymish attempts to help her she realised that she is just on a Road to Nowhere.
