A group of animal people in the world of Cherikoi... The species known as "Katura", known for their rarity and beautiful fur, sold for thousands upon thousands of Fia, the currency of Cherikoi. This group, known as the Makuro, are worshipped for their legendary stories, each of a different element. The Makuro fight for freedom of the humans, always being hunted down for their divine fur and used for their intelligence. The humans had become successful in the war, and the Makuro went into hiding, never to be seen again in the world of Cherikoi. The Katura were scared, their deities had gone into hiding... Until this day.

In another dimension four worlds came together. Two of the world's wanted peace with others, some couldn't trust the other world's and the last one wanted to prepare for anything that could happen. One day their was battle between four armies it was a slaughter. Eight individuals were left they fought each other some fell in battle one by one. One was left standing until a powerful creature appears the individual tried to fight it but it was useless the seven individuals that died in battle came back to life and helped fight the creature and defeat it. Once the creature was defeated the eight individuals looked at each other until symbol appeared on them choosing them as heroes. A vortex appeared behind the individuals and took them to another world. What will happen to the individuals who are they going to fight? All they know is that they are not in their world anymore. Remember when beastars was simple? When it didn't turn into a shonen-ninja-mafia-esque thing? If you enjoyed that simplicity then you'll propably like this fic. It's set before Legosi meets Haru (by this point it's basically an au where Haru doesn't exist), and it will not touch on any of the manga plot points, so there are no spoilers.
