"How does someone like you create beautiful paintings like that? Aren't you colorblind?" He questions, looking at the painting I drew. He shifts his gaze from my painting to my eyes, reading them.

I look at him in shock.

"How did you know I was colorblind? I never told anyone," I stutter. "I-I never told anyone before."

He smiles, "I guess I put the pieces together."

○○○

Ebony Reynolds is colorblind. She can only see the world in a greyscale. Nobody knows. Why would she want anyone to know about her deficiancy? It's not like it can be cured so why to bother telling people about it. She tries her hardest to not let anyone outside of family know.

One guy in her art class, however, puts the pieces together and confronts her about it. He tells her that he can do the impossible.

She wants to believe what he can do is true.

She wants to believe that he is true.

Not some guy who wants to play her.

To make her suffer.

But to make her see color, hear music, see life as it's supposed to be.

Not some grey picture with a monochromatic touch.

Can someone make you believe you can see color when you were born to not?
