             In this Au Shane is and always has been a demon named Madej, He wasn't the demon of anything just a grunt level demon. Madej decided to check out Earth from one of his captures and retrieve missions (capturing and retrieving a dead soul of a very bad person) and he learns of the beauty of this planet and stays. Eons go by and hell forgets he left and forgets him altogether so he lives in peace on earth. He earns a job in BuzzFeed and lands a role as a ghost hunter alongside an individual named Ryan Bergara. He plays the skeptic role well besides the "believer" Ryan. 

              Ryan is not exactly normal either, he is possessed by a 1920's Mob boss named Ricky Goldsworth. This ghost has such a  similar soul to him that he just merged souls one day and hasn't been rid of him since. Ricky helps Ryan out in paranormal investigations by telling him where to look or where NOT to go. Ryan himself cannot see the ghosts or what happens around him in that sense but Ricky can, since ghosts are so common to him he only alerts Ryan on investigations or if a really bad spirit that could hurt him pops up. 

              When their paths cross, how long will it take them to discover that neither are without their own Paranormal Problems?

The Buzzfeed Unsolved boys have done their fair share of investigations over the years, both from behind their desk and out and about on location. This time, however, was different. Something was off, and Ryan had a feeling it wasn't just his fear of the paranormal getting to him. This investigation / camping trip made him feel incredibly uneasy and that sensation only increased when he woke up in the middle of the night only to find Shane wasn't there anymore. ~~~~~ [Note: This is MY version of Demon!Shane which explains the how and why of him being intertwined with an evil being.] {Bold letters are used for emphasis, underlined text is used for letters, scripts or texts, italics are dialogue going on in the head of the person's whose POV the chapter is in. /Both italics & bold used as complete sentences are for a character that comes in after the first chapter...\ In the case of some dialogue interrupting a script, much like in their videos when there's nothing pointing to who said the line, the text aligned to the left is Shane speaking and text aligned to the right is Ryan speaking.} (Got the idea for this AU when I was looking through many pieces of fan art of Ryan and Shane. You could say that he was only a few deja-vu's from reliving his whole life over again. Living between moments; Watching... Waiting... Wishing. But that was the kicker in all of this. Due to their job description, it was only a matter of time before they actually stumbled across one. When Ryan ends up giving his life for his friend, it's up to Shane to try and fix things. Except, it turns out things aren't that simple to fix.

Shane Winchester, formerly Shane Parker, has not an easy run at things. When she was young, her entire family was murdered by her demon-possessed father, who then killed himself. Many years later,, that same demon that killed her family came back to try to kill Shane, who at the time was living in an orphanage, marred with the reputation of a mentally unstable child. And although she was rescued by the Winchester brothers, another demon manifested itself and possessed Shane for four years, leaving her as nothing more than a shell of a person. But after freeing herself from said demon, Shane discovered that she isn't even human, rather a creature who's sole purpose and desire is to find demons and kill them in the most grotesque way possible. Shane's hopes of finally getting her life back and gaining some stability are dashed to pieces as she now finds herself chased by the only friends she had left in the world, Sam and Dean. She has fallen victim to the notorious cliche: "the hunter has become the hunted." Terrified and accompanied only by the Trickster, Shane continues running from her seemingly imminent demise, and attempts to find a way to reverse the terrible transformation she is undergoing.
