We just got the news, that five people from our class would be allowed to have an exchange student come over from England. I was thrilled when I heard the news, and I really wanted to be one of them five. Luckily, my wish came true and I was one of the five, but what I didn't expect is to have the most snobby, self-centred, jerk for my British Exchange Student.

Jace Nicholls, the very classy (so he thinks he is) British boy that I am stuck with for a week, worse is, that he has to stay in my house. As handsome as he is with his hair and sparkling eyes, I hate him. I thought it'd be fun, but this mean loser is making my life hell.

I spend seven days with him, and I'm losing the will to live. Surprisingly, he kinda makes my heart race when I see him, but that's beside the point. I just need to last a week, and I'll never see him again. But at the same time, I don't want to let him go.

Everyone has those first day jitters, right? Would it be any different if you came from a different country? Jace Wilson has just moved from Russia to America with his dad. His first impression: America is weird. On his first day at Ocean Creek High he finds out that in America, on your sixteenth birthday, you get something taking away from you by the government.
