Bata pa lamang ako, lagi ko nang iniisip kung ano ang mangyayari sa sarili kong kasal. Alam kong gawain ito ng mga babae pero nagkakamali kayo. Iniisip din naming mga lalaki kung paano idadaos ang isa sa "most awaited event" sa buhay ng isang tao. Gaya na lang ng kung ano ba ang magandang kulay ng tuxedo o kung anong klaseng kasal ang gusto namin ng mapapangasawa ko. Church wedding? Beach? Garden? Sige lang, kahit ano. Basta ba ikakasal ako sa taong mahal ko. Minsan naman, iniisip ko din kung ano ang pakiramdam nang nakatayo ka sa unahan habang pinapanood ang bride mong naglalakad palapit sa'yo kasabay ng napili niyong wedding song. Kung totoo ba ang mga ipinapalabas sa telebisyon na mapapaiyak ka talaga sa oras na 'yon.
Balang araw, matutupad din ang lahat ng ito. Sa tamang panahon ng Diyos, magtatagpo din kami ng babaeng itinakda Niya para sa akin at nangako ako sa aking sarili na mamahalin ko siya't aalagaan hanggang sa huling hininga ko. Paglilingkuran ko siya ng buong puso at ituturing na parang reyna.

About updates, I wish I could say I will be posting at least once a day but I know that won't be true because I'm currently editing my book that I am publishing this summer (2020) and this story is more of just a de-stressor (is that a word) so the grammar and writing, especially the tense (it will most likely flip between present and past tense, just pretend it is all the same) might not be perfect, but I just felt like writing it. The devil in Matthew is a story about Mma, a graduate of the higher institution without a good job and money to give herself a better life found herself psychologically affected by the fact that she was still single at the age of twenty-nine. She endured series of mockery and heavy pressure from her mother about getting married. She got to a point where she didn't care about who the man was or what his life was enthralled with, all she cared about was getting married and getting her mother off her shirt. Even when she finally got a proposal from a guy that was once a childhood friend of her brothers, she wasn't convinced that he was the one but she said yes to avoid any more troubles with her mother. Her marriage was not what she had imagined it to be, her husband was a jobless man who lived with his mother. He actually got married to her because he thought she was from a rich family. He wanted a family he could live off. He didn't know that they didn't have all the glitters and riches and they were living in their past glory. He was patient enough with her. He tried all he could to hide his real self. After the birth of her daughter, they left town to make a better life for themselves that was when the real devil in him unleashed. He became unbearable, he beat her, and he sometimes threw her out in the cold and brought different types of women into their home. Even when she tried to develop herself, by venturing into a business, he tried all he could to wash it down the drain. She was torn between staying in the marriage and running away when she lost a pregnancy due to his battering. She wanted to leave because she was scared and she was scared of leaving because of what people would say about a woman leaving her matrimonial home. At this point in her life and for the first time, she was going to make a decision for herself without caring so much about what people would say about her.Complete

I said it was fine, I can manage. I thought it was just that, but it wasn't. I decided to confront him, I went to his condo and there, my greatest fear welcomed me without warning.
