(Y/N) is a famous architect, her work being simply beautiful. (Y/N) was one talented girl. She herself was a beautiful girl. Many wanted her but she didn't want them. She never opened up to people. The whole media thought they knew her well, but they knew nothing. They didn't know about her tough past, they didn't know about the scars buried deep in her wrists. They knew nothing. (Y/N) was at her family home with her parents and little brother. Daemon was always so happy whenever you would come round to the family home, but this time was different. An apocalypse exploded and ruined everything. (Y/N) being famous got told what was happening and where to go, but she couldn't leave her family behind like that so she declined the offer of going to safety and stayed with her family but things didn't go the way she planned. She finds herself having to trust other and being open with them. But she struggles with this. Will she ever be able to have a normal life again? Or will she always have to be on the run for safety? Y/N had never stayed in one place for long, Her life after the world fell apart had been a constant cycle of survival-keep moving, stay quiet, trust no one. But arriving in Alexandria was different. It was a chance to stop running, to rebuild some semblance of a life, even if the walls felt too pristine, too safe. She didn't expect to catch the attention of Daryl Dixon-the man who seemed just as wary of newcomers as she was of this place. He was rough around the edges, with sharp eyes that missed nothing and a quiet intensity that made people tread carefully around him. At first, their interactions were brief-gruff nods, silent observations. But there was something about Y/N, something in the way she carried herself, that made him pause. She wasn't like the others. She didn't try too hard to fit in, didn't sugarcoat the realities of the world outside these walls. Daryl saw the way she scanned the exits, how she positioned herself in a room to always have a quick way out. He understood it-hell, he lived it. Maybe that was why he found himself drawn to her, watching over her in ways she didn't even realize. And maybe, just maybe, Y/N wasn't as alone as she thought she was anymore
