Destiny Waters. Nineteen years old. Of Irish descent. She moved to California as a fifteen-year-old, leaving behind her life, her home, but most importantly her best friend who just so happens to be the love of her life. They keep in touch for a few months, until her sixteen-year-old best friend auditions for the X-Factor. They called each other every night, she voted for him every week, but that all ended after he and his group got their record deal. He shuts her out completely. After she calls him and it goes to voicemail, and she texts him but doesn’t get anything in return, and DMs him, only for him to unfollow her, and Facebook Messages him, only for him to block her, the hate boils up, but the love is still there.
In the next four years, she has tried to have relationships, but in the end, they always end; because of Niall.
She can’t trust men because of what he did to her. She can’t be with anyone without him popping to mind.
This girl, nearly twenty, working at Barnes & Noble, spending her time reading books, and living in a one room apartment in the heart of San Francisco, is in love, but also loathes, one of the five heartthrobs of the world.
Everybody has a Destiny. Whether it be working in a book store all your life, singing on a stage in front of hundreds of screaming fans, going to college and getting a job, or enlisting for the army and saving lives. The problem is, you have to find your destiny.
The question is; Will Destiny find hers?

Direction Hater
Directionators and Directioners: terms known well in the fan fiction, tumblr, twitter, and internet world. Those are the two distinct groups surrounding One Direction, but Marissa isn't either of those. Marissa is a Direction Hater. She can't stand to listen to their music, and she doesn't understand the hype surrounding the boys. They, afterall to Marissa, are just a phase the girls are going through.
