Hiroyuki Dai es un chico muy alegre a pesar de que su madre murió cuando él tenía 7 años. Su padre es el héroe número 3 y cuida de él muy bien. Dai tiene una cicatriz en su ojo derecho porque un día cuando tenía 11 años, en la escuela se metieron con porque no tener madre, normalmente le defiende Katsuki, su mejor amigo, pero en ese momento parecía que no estaba, así que fue corriendo al bosque que estaba al lado, ahí se puso a llorar, una de las únicas veces que lloraba. En el bosque se encontró con un lobo, aunque uno de sus Koseis sea convertirse en lobo, todavía no lo controlaba, así que el lobo le atacó y le dejó esa cicatriz. 
Ahora quiere ser un héroe para dejar de ser débil y salvar a todos!!
