Before Peter could bring her to Shield or the police, a huge storm hit and they had to take shelter. Skye suffered from amnesia from the hurricane incident and can't remember where she came from OR who her parents were after that. He only later comes to find out she has spider powers just like him. How is that possible? She ends up staying with Peter Parker AKA Spiderman (by SHIELDS commands) till he can find her parents. This story takes place in the Ultimate Spider man universe. So the drawings are HEAVILY based from there. So, To make things clear.
