Once he turned 14 he learned all there was to be the king excluding the estranged marriage with the neighboring kingdoms princess, princess Ava a snotty stuck up girl who thought she ruled all of the world and that everyone else was peasants. She thirsted for power as did her father and mother. The prince not wanted to marry the princess. Convinced his parents to let him choose the girl he would marry.
