In all of Europe there's a flashing on the TV screens, phones, tablets, digital screens, billboards ... everything. People look to the screens to see a bright flashing of a yellowish-blue color, the giant caution signs, the short print on the top of the screen typing "Code Z - Evacuate" everyone is confused. Nobody's seen a "Code Z" before, what does it mean? Then as their eyes travel down the screens seeing the words "This is a government announcement. This is the Zombie Apocalypse, the end as we know it, you're on your own." And everyone breaks.

We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' . The ones who survived were the last of us. Will the people make it in time? What hardships will they encounter along the way? The Wildfire Virus. That's the illness the eggheads have called dubbed that has spread alarmingly fast all over the world. No could figure out at first how and where it came from or how even spread so quickly. I was on leave, visiting brother in Boston when the infection hit. Yesterday, the world was normal with its own conflicts. The next, millions get sick, hospitals are overwhelmed, and any sort of space was converted into a makeshift hospital to handle all the sick. On day 2 the sick died and awoke attacking the living. I tried to get out of the city, but the military closed off every major access point and now I'm trapped within, along with millions of undead.
