Izuku Midoriya was born into a line of fae that had a strong connection to the earth, giving them nature and healing magic. Sadly for Izuku, he didn't get to grow up learning the magic entrusted to him through his bloodline. The Midoriya fae bloodline was killed off, Izuku's mother gave her life to save her child. She left him wrapped up in a basket on the doorstep of the closest house in the closest village when he was only a baby, too young to remember anything that happened to his people. He's 21 now and is finding out more about his life, old friend, new friends, and feelings.

Katsuki Bakugo is also a 15-year-old that attends UA high school, when he was around the age of 5 his best friend went missing and no one tells him why. All of the investigators dropped the whole investigation not even a month into looking. Bakugo then made it his mission to find answers and figure out what has happened to his childhood friend. Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He couldn't wait to prove everyone wrong when they said he couldn't be a hero because of his hearing loss. He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying. Katsuki catches on to the staring and signs at him, even though he can't understand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Katsuki turns to the taller boy, clearly in a pissed off mood. "Yes, I am signing about you." He signs at him, knowing that he won't understand him anyway. Midoriya's laugh was heard through the training ground as he saw what his friend signed. Shoto looked at him, completely lost.
