Don't be bemused, it's just the news.
Today at about 4pm in the city of Paris, our superheroes' have been defeated by Hawkmoth. Civilians claim to have seen the superheroes' identities with their very own eyes. They are all high school students, including model Adrien Agreste and our Mayor's daughter, Chloe Bourgeois. The Mayor has sent reinforcements to assist Parisians. But one question still remains... where are our heroes?

That being said, when she, her sister, and her mom move to Paris due to financial struggles in America, she is met with a couple of events in which she finds to be a living nightmare. Not only has she had troubles in the past as a social outcast to her old school, but she now has to deal with one of the most revolting, most evil, and most spoiled person she has ever met. So what will exactly happen when she finds a kwami that might be even of more worth to Hawkmoth that Ladybug's or Chat Noir's? A Little Bit of Bad Luck
In this AU, Félix and Marinette's characters are based on the ones from the Miraculous anime PV that was never made (extra explanation of MCs in prologue). Additionally, there is a focus of side characters such as Gabriel, Nathalie, and Chloé (all these characters are based on the canon cartoon). This story takes place in the world of the cartoon but I have added some elements of the anime and my own spin on things. It's mostly plot and romance with occasional action.
