Dominique Santiago is a Mixed racial Black girl.
Her father is Mexican and her mother is African And she has lived in Mexico City for her whole life. On July 5th her and her twin brother Micheal go on a trip to New york city where she meets with her cousin and has a wild night at a fellow friends party. After leaving the party her twin brother gets shot by a police officer for picking up his cell phone to call his parents . The officer stating he thought the phone was a gun.
Dominique has never seen police brutality that bad before and is shocked and traumatised with what she has seen. How will she get justice for her brother ?
