In the Pass of Miyuki

For thousands of years, the quiet settlements of Ametani and Shiromura have lived in peace, separated only by the treacherous Pass of Miyuki. On the land that was once believed to have been the long lost country of Japan, these two settlements have survived. However, when gold is discovered in the no-man's-land that is the Pass of Miyuki, will the past be learnt from, or will greed conquer the easily bent minds of men once more?
