Mature
Eden Irey could gaze up at the stars forever, losing herself each time she did within time and space. Her eyes would dart across the room to where the lightning would crack outside her bedroom window, making her skin glow with every strike that could reach inside. She loved the night, because that was the time when she knew that nothing was for certain. You couldn't predict exactly when the thunder would roar at any given moment, and you couldn't say for sure that the stars would be visible each night. However, the darkness and the uncertainty that came with it used to scare her, terrify her even, but then she realized something- things can not, and will not, always be in her control, so she just has to let it be. So she decided to let the lightning strike outside of her bedroom window, the stars appear on the random nights that they did, and she let her life continue with all of it's ups and downs.

Yours Truly, Austin Post - Post Malone

69 parts Complete Mature

Ava watches as Austin clings to Gracie, his shoulders shaking as he buries his face in her blankets, powerless to ease the grief that holds him. He's torn between the brief promise of two nights and the weight of his own emotions. Ava can't fix this, but she can't walk away either. When Austin speaks, his words echo with a raw desperation. "How do I leave her like this? It's only two nights... my dad says it's only two nights. But that's the problem. It's only two nights." Sitting beside him, Ava offers no simple answers, just the truth she's learned over the years. Time is a fleeting thing, and if you measure it by hours or days, you'll never have enough. Instead, you count the moments that matter. You hold onto memories, letting them string together to form something beautiful, even when life feels like it's slipping through your fingers. "Everybody's going to hurt you," she tells him, her voice steady, yet heavy with understanding. "You just gotta find the one worth suffering for." But as Austin struggles to hold on to what he loves, he begins to wonder: Is Gracie worth the pain? And if he lets go, what will be left of him? In a world where time is never enough, Ava and Austin must learn what it really means to choose love-and to embrace the fleeting moments that will shape their futures. A deeply emotional story of love, loss, and the memories that make us who we are.
