Different from the Rest

17 year old Makenna Williams comes to Mountain View High School as a means to get away from the horrors of her past. She's determined to leave that old part of her life behind her, and to do that, all she has to do is keep the secret.

Shawn Roberts, the school's 'it boy' who doesn't give a damn, notices Makenna right away. Just the sight of her alone is enough to spark memories from his own past, and suddenly he wants nothing more than to stay away from her.

Both of them want to defy the emotions that they come to feel for each other. But how can they do that when it seems like everything is pushing them together?
